What is the difference between Harness and Hydro Zorbing?
Harness Zorbing – Two people harnessed in safely facing each other then go head over heels down our run with a few bounces! Hydro Zorbing - Can be done on your own, in pairs or with three people at a time. You dive inside with the equivalent to 2 buckets of water (warm water on cold days). Sat on the bottom, when launched, you slip and slide as the ball rotates around you! The best fun ever!!!! If you do the experience on your own try the Heroes Challenge - Run all the way to the bottom and win a free T-Shirt! Pictures can be seen here. See the video here.

Harness Zorbing - Must be 4ft 5 high and maximum joint weight must not exceed 28 stone (180kg) Hydro Zorbing - Age 6 and over, maximum weight for multiple riders must not exceed 40 stone (250kg) Parents or a guardian over 18 must accompany anyone under 18 on the day of the experience and countersign a waiver form.

Harness Zorbing – You can wear your everyday clothing as long as your shoulders are covered, you also need to wear socks so it is a good idea to bring a spare pair. Hydro Zorbing – You get wet through so we recommend shorts/trousers and a T-shirt, and you must wear socks, so you definitely need to bring a change of clothes spare socks and remember the spare undies!!! See the video here.
When do you have to cancel the Zorbing experience?
Zorbing is most affected by wind speed and direction, and therefore due to Health & Safety, Zorbing South UK Ltd will: Cancel all Zorbing operations if wind speeds are deemed to be too high.
Why do you sometimes cancel the Harness Zorbing and not the Hydro?
For Harness Zorbing two people are harnessed facing each other with the weight distribution centred in the middle, with downhill winds exceeding 15mph, harness zorbing is cancelled, as the balls travel faster. For Hydro Zorbing the weight distribution is totally different you are based in the bottom with the extra weight of the water acting as an anchor thus more controllable with downhill winds.
